Artist: Vincent Van Gogh
Title
of piece: Sunflowers
Media: Oil on Canvas
Dimensions: 92.1 x 73 cm
Date : 1888
Vincent Van Gogh was a famous Dutch painter. He was most famously
known for his paintings of sunflowers and his self-portraits. This is one of a
series of two paintings in this collection. This is actually his fourth version
of painting, it has a yellow background. Each version has its own color in the background.
I picked this for my flower collection because I believe it is one of the
brightest color flowers you can get. They are so detailed and all flowers have their
own characteristics, with use of rich yellow colors.

Paul cezenne, a French man, was born January 19, 1839 in Aix-en-Provence, France, also where he died on October 22, 1906. He came up
with the bridge between impressionism and cubism forms of art. I picked this
painting of flowers because I made me feel like not every bunch is perfect in
every way sometimes it will have its glitches and still be beautiful.

Artist: Frederic Bazille

Frederic Bazilles painting
titled Flowers is a very fine detailed painting, every flower placed in just
the right spots. He also uses various colors such as whites, yellows, greens, red,and
brown. I picked this painting for my collection because it made me think of the
time and love put into this piece of work.

Artist: Ferdinand Georg Waldmuller
Title of piece: Roses
Media: Oil on Canvas
Dimensions: 48
× 39 cm
Date : 1842
Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller lived from 1793 to
1865. He was known for painting things he saw such as: himself, other people,
landscape, flowers. He was also known as a writer. I picked Roses for my
collection because it just grabbed me in with bright rich pink roses against
the glass vases. This is a very beautiful piece of art.
